Roy eyed the hole and asked himself the exact same thing Syani just said. "Wow... was it really this big last time too?? Good thing we managed to prevent tripping in there" Roy said sighing in relief "...more or less" he added chuckling while giving Syani a quick look from aside.
Then he focused his eyes on the other side again "Hmm.. what if the hole really was smaller last time? And that guy broke the ground a bit more when jumping over it?... If thats the case we need to be even more careful" Roy spoke thinking.
"You don`t have a potion for this situation.... by any chance?" Roy asked smiling hoping that Syani would have some ideas but added in mind 'hopefully not a teleport potion...'

"I know! I'll use my teleportation potion!" Bringing out the exact thing Roy hoped not to right on cue of his thought, Syani raised an index finger pointed above, but then uses that finger to tap on her cheek repititively in a thinking manner. "But then I wouldn't know where we land next time, and that's kind of dangerous..."
Averting her eyes from the hole towards the opened door, Syani stared sharply at it for a moment, the light on her hand revealing how serious she looked when she's thinking. "You know what..." Turning her head to face Roy, that impish grin revealed itself on her face. "We didn't even need a potion for this."
Stepping back a few feet, the half-vampire had her eyes locked on the door. "We just jump~!!"

Roys face expression was falling apart when Syani called out the teleport potion in excitement. He was about to say something but then Syani was already getting the idea that it won`t be a good idea on her own.
Roy sighed in relief and the looked around for a another way to pass that hole. But before he could think of anything Syani already got ready to jump.
"Wait!!" Roy shouted out reaching with his glowing hand out for her which made their shadows dancing on the wall.
"What if the ground where you are planning to land on is instable as well ? The impact could also crush it and cause us to fall.."

Syani just grinned at Roy, rushed around him and immediately jumped. It didn't even look like a full jump as she land quickly right...on top of..the hole? "It's an illusion!" Syani explained with a smile, pointing at the thin air she's standing, like she's stepping on a very see-though glass. "That black thing I saw at the corner of my eyes. That rat...is heading behind us that time right? So where does it came from? The ground? Naah...I'm betting from that door."
Cocking her head at the door, Syani simply walks towards the door, reached for the knob and turned to Roy. "But careful! That guy before knocks down some real crumbling parts of the stairs, and that's a real hole. So jump for about a foot or two here and you're safe~!"

"Syani!" Roy shouted as he tried to get a grip of the extremly high motivated vampire who rushed past him. After she landed on the see-through-ground he let out a heavy sigh. After listening to her explanation he shrugged "And I am supposed to believe that you knew that beforehand... right?" Not expecting an answer Roy made a little jump on the illusion ground. he couldn`t deny that his stomache felt weird for a second though.
Then he walked over to Syani with his adventure spirit flaming up again. "Alright then! Lets see what will await us!" With his sword already in one hand he noticed that Syani already placed her fingers on the knob. "I`ll leave it to you"

"Okay!" Syani nodded as she turned the knob and opened the door slowly. A loud creaking sound echoes through the spiral stairs as she pulled the huge old door open and the first thing she felt as it was opened...is the unnaturally sweet-smelled air blown to her skin.
"...Whoah." Unlike the other rooms and areas they've been into, this one is probably the most cleanest, brightest and most furbished one. It almost looks like one very grand hall... Royal red curtains draped around the walls, lights sparkling down to the waxed floor, and the chandelier beautifully placed at the center of the ceiling, lighting the whole place in all its glory. Long snack tables leaned on one part of the wall, fancy food and buffet just waiting there to be eaten...
"Aii...Roy, it's another illusion..." Syani stated boredly, stepping to the side to let him see the illogically grand ballroom at the other side of the door. How did she found out its an illusion so quickly? With one solid conclusion: "It's too fancy to exist in a place named the CREEPY Steeple!"

After Roy head the sound of her voice which was in awe Roy quickly followed her to get sight of the new room. "Wooow, thats incredible!" was his first impression followed by Syanis explanations.
"Oh come on, don`t be so negativ! How high is the chance that we run from one illusion into another?" Roy asked her and walked into the room, turning a few times to get a full sight of the whole room.
When he was reaching the buffet he took a seat at the top of the table. Gazing over the whole table his eyes wandered to the great door at the other side of the room to the chandelier at the ceiling. "Aah.. living in a place like that. This would be awesome..." Then he was looking back to Syani "Well to me it looks pretty real, don`t you think?" he asked her followed by a grumble from his stomach. "Oh..."

"No, shhh, Roy!" Syani tried her best to whisper as Roy walked in the room, fully amazed by the sight. "Roy! What are you doing?? Get back here! You never know if it's a trap!" Still with her voice low, the half-vampire stood anxiously still at the door, calling her friend over and over. Though, maybe her voice's too low to be heard.
Syani just eyed Roy as he walked across the great ballroom and sat on one of the long tables. She waited, and waited...and nothing happened, so she carefully stepped inside, though ever so cautious with her head spinning left and right. When she approached Roy, the black-haired balls her hands up to light fists, "Roy, REALLY, I have a VERY bad feeling about this place. Seriously, last time I'm in a room like this, it was hosted by this...girlish dude...who turns out to be a living cannibal"
She paused, think over her words, and blinked at him. "...You don't believe me, do you..?" The rumbling noise alerted her, since she's being overly cautious at the moment. "What was that?!" Spinning around, the half-vampire was ready with her hands in a spell-casting formation, her eyes shifts from left to right. "That better not be that same girlish dude from before,..."

Roy was eying Syani who slowly walked over to him telling him from her experiences with pretty rooms and Roy had a hard time not to laugh.
"Come on, not everything is set to be a trap. I mean who else should be here besides us ?"
The fact that the grumble of his stomach made Syani turning around made him burst out in laugher. "Sorry.. that was .. me" he added innocently after that.
Then Roy started to poke the chicken sticks on the plate near to him. "Hmmmm... you are hungry too, right ? I understand that its not very smart to eat that stuff, but would you prefer to starve?"

Syani's eyebrows creased with worry when she found it's hard to convince Roy on such a place. "But...but who would FURNISH such a creepy place??" She tried to reason. After learning the noise she heard was Roy's stomach, the half-vampire sweatdropped, and beginning to see herself being overly cautious.
"Okay...maybe I was a bit traumatized from my last experience.." She muttered unsurely, confused to either believe her gut or her mind. When Roy poked one of the food there however, Syani immediately slapped his hand away from the chicken. "Don't touch it! It might be poisoned!!"
And she's back to her paranoid state again...
Just as she's about to scold Roy, her weak vampire sense perked up. Syani paused at the strange feeling, before quickly spinning behind her, grabs something from inside her cloak and tossed it behind her. The sound of glass breaking echoed the room faintly. That glass being her potion bottle she had thrown, that breaks to pieces on the floor.
Syani paused. She thought she felt something behind her, and throwing her potion on it would reveal what it is...only that she hit nothing and just wasted a good potion. "But I... I swear I felt something..." 'Or my trauma affects how I think.'

She did has a point there. But this place is also filled with magic so why shouldn`t there be a dinner like that? But Roy pulled his hand back immediately as Syani yelled it him about the poisened food.
Of course she was right, but Roy couldn`t hold himself back from grinning. It was kinda amusing, even though the situation wasn`t meant for making jokes. As he wanted to say something though Syani already turned around and was aiming at something.
Roy turned around but all he could see was the broken potion at the ground. "Did you see something though ?" He asked as he stood up slowly checking the room with his eyes.
Then suddenly the large door at the top of the room opened and a thin figure clothed in elegant fabrics was stepping inside. With the sound of the cracking door Roy glanced alerted at it with a whispering voice "Who the heck is that..?"

The sound of the large door being opened ultimately alerted Syani to the point of grabbing any potion inside her cloak...that some escaped her fingers and fell on the floor. It doesn't have any affects though, just minor smoke coming out from it. The half-vampire doesn't seem to look seriously into it though, as all her focus was onto that figure.
She sharply tries to look from afar on who this person is, and silently is thankful it's not the same girlish dude she met before. If it is, Roy would be-- Syani shook her head, not wanting to imagine what would happen. The figure stepping in was definitely a master in illusion, she could feel it. Even their clothes was an illusion...highly likely.
"Who are you?!"
"Oh, you don't recognize me? ...Not you, girl, HIM." The voice was faint and sharp, and it definitely shows this person's a woman. As she stepped nearer to the pair, the woman then elegantly smiled...mainly to Roy.
Her dress matched the atmosphere around them; elegant and beautiful. The woman herself is in fact pretty, her long blonde hair was tied in a refined bun behind her, and her long eyelashes batted furiously at the only young man there.
Of course, Syani found this nauseating. That's why she's making her own move by stepping in front of Roy, blocking the woman's view of him, and...well...being Syani, the paranoid half-vampire.
"Hey, stop flirting with him, anti-mushy present here. I know what you're doing, you're a hostess of this illusion, so quit tricking us and show us the exit! Now!" Obviously, inside this place, it's clear to see the black-haired is no where near fit. Her rash and loud yells totally ruins the elegant atmosphere.
"My, my. Your lack of refinement doesn't surprise me, peasant. Now off with you, don't make me overshadow you all over again. I would like a dance with this man."
"Excuse ME? Lack of refine-- Oh, PLEASE, I wouldnt even dream of... ...Wait, what? Overshadow??"

Roy already gulped witnessing the broken potion on the ground but luckily nothing happened. Then his eyes wandered to the approaching figure who was already close by.
His eyebrows rose in surprise as the woman started talking to him. He wasn`t the guy who runs after every handsome looking girl, but still... if he met this person before he would definitely remember a stunning feast for the eyes like her.
"Uh... excuse me?" was all he brought out while starring at the girl in front of him. Not knowing what else to say he just kept staring almost forgetting that Syani was still there too...well, until she was stepping in between.
'Why is she so focused on her opinion that this has to be an illusion ? I still don`t see anything weird..' Pondering about whats illusion or not he just snapped out of it as he heard the words 'don't make me overshadow you all over again'
"What?!" Roy yelled and immediately took a hold of Syanis shoulders and pulled her backwards close to his side while she was asking in confusion.
"Its you..." he said, glaring at the woman with sharp eyes. Even though he couldn`t understand why she looked like that all of the sudden. Theres only got to be one possibility: she overshadowed another body. But who on earth should have wandered around in the castle besides them ??
"Did you steal someones body again you... you crazy spirit?!" he yelled at the woman with the lack of the right words.

Syani can't help to jumped a bit as Roy took hold of her shoulders, but stayed quiet in silent confusion as he pulls her to his side. The half-vampire could only blink at them both, switching her attention to them one by one as they started to...argue?
The blonde looked pleased at first to see that Roy started to recall on who she is...but was startled completely when he called her crazy. "I beg your pardon?! Well...after all this time I was trying to find a beautiful-enough shell JUST for you, just to DANCE with you, and you called me crazy??" She took a deep breath, adjusted a lock of hair that escaped her bun by her outburst earlier, and sighed...
"Aww...did miss elegant lost her grace?" Syani sticks out her tongue to the tall lady. Intimidating people so childishly usually won't affect them, but for this case...
The woman glared sharply at the girl beside the man, fixing a rather murderous glance towards her before changing her expression completely when she faces Roy. "Just one dance...one simple dance.." She said softly, almost begging, as she steps closer to the young man. "Please..." Holding out her hands for him to hold, the blonde smiled warmly towards him.

Roy eyed the pretty woman who was stepping closer to him. Was this really the same personality who overshadowed Syani ? His eyes wandering from the girl to Syani and back. She really WAS beautiful, oh yeah she was. Roy took a step backwards dragging Syani with him and yelled "No!" as he shook his head.
"Do you think I can just forget everything that happened up there ? You tried to kill her and forced me to break these seals!" Roy couldn`t let himself be tricked by that graceful appearance. "You still must be trapped inside that castle...... so I ask again, who did you overshadow THIS time?"
His voice was strong and secure and there was no hesitating in his words.
