Wearing her long red cloak and her purple half-dress and skirt underneath it, Syani stepped in in front the Demensa, which is a glowing oval portal, popular for building dimensions.
She was planning to go to the Room of Rooms for her current mission right now, but seeing as she wanted to improve in her state of mind, she decided to go to her desired swamp using the Demensa...
In fact, she's waiting for a companion right now.

Roy was rushing through the city. He was late.
But he couldn`t help it. They were meeting at the Demensa, but what actually was that, and where was it ? He had to ask a few people until he got the information and a good describtion. And now he finally can see the shining oval.
Arriving at the portal he could already see Syani.
"Hey there!!" he shouted and stopped right next to her, breathing heavily. "Sorry... I didn`t find it right away. But now I am here!" he grinned. "Ready for everything!"

Syani lifted a smile as her companion for her mission arrived, "I'm glad you made it, dude. I was starting to get worried if you've forgotten." Rubbing the back of her hair, the half-vampire grinned.
Seeing that he's ready, Syani's cheery tone dropped serious, "Okay Roy, this is the Demensa, where we could literally create dimensions at our own free will. When we step inside this portal, there might be a chance that we got lost or seperated, or worst, die. But as long as you stay with me, I can always summon the portal to get us back in here, alright?"
Now that she's done instructing, her smile was back again, "Any questions?"

Roy stared at her after she was finished and was stunned. "I.... expected a interesting journey... but this is better then anyting I`ve thought of" he grinned widely.
"Don`t worry about me, I won`t disappoint you!" he said with a secure voice.
"And how could I forget you?" he mumbled to hisself.

Grinning at his determined reply, Syani nodded, "Heh, I KNOW I was counting to a right person! Now, c'mon," extending her hand straight in front of her face, mumbling something, probably some magical spells used for the portal.
Whe. she finished her spell, the portal suddenly glows deep black, "Okay. This is it, Roy. The Black Swamp. Ready?" Raising her hand for Roy to take it, she smiled wide.

Roy took her hand with a smile "At your service" and bowed. Then he followed her and both stepped into the portal.
Darkness was revolving around them. Roy could feel how the magic of the portal embraced Syani and him. Suddenly his body felt very wierd. But he wasn`t scared at all because he was still holding tight to Syani`s hand.

Stepping inside the portal, they could only see darkness. For a moment, its like time stops, until finally, Syani pulled Roy further into the darkness before she felt something with her boots. The scent of the swamp could be smelled everywhere and the sound of croaking filled the atmosphere.
The darkness finally fades away and both are now standing right beside a muddy swamp. The water is muddy, and there are a lot of dragonflies hovering around. Syani smiled before stating, "Welcome to my past, Roy,"

Roy was watching the dark swamp that was revolving the two of them all of the sudden. "Your past?" he repeated. "Does that mean that you`ve created this demension with your memories?" Roy asked her while making a few steps in front and looking around. "Have you been looking here for ingredients before?"

"Mhmm! Yes to all three questions~!" Syani slowly steps inside the swamp with her boots while bending herself down to touch the soil below the muddy swamp with her left hand, searching for any frogs.
"People in my past can't see us, much less touch us. But I figured out a spell that can make me able pull things out...like these black frongs I need. Hmm... can you see one, Roy?"

Roy followed her into the swamp. "So basicly nothing could happen to us while we are here?" he asked and searched with his eyes for the animals that Syani needed.
A big bubble bursted next to Roy and catched his attention. "This stinks.." he said while he got nearer to the place where he saw the bubble. "Maybe down there we are going to find something" and with this words he reached down with his right hand.

"Yep. If you're lucky, since it's night here, you could see my past self walking down that lane there...maybe," Syani pointed a mud-filled hand to quite a lot of bushes at the right, "Just at the other side of that bush."
Trying to walk through the thick swamp towards Roy to the bubbly area, Syani laughed, "Careful dude, snakes could be anywhere. Good thing its not poisonous here."

"Seeing your old self..." he mumbeld to himself. This sentence made Roy thinking again about the question what Syani has experienced in her past. But somehow he still didn`t want to ask her about it.
Hearing Syani`s warning he quickly pulled out his arm of the mud again. "Wait, I thought we could not be seen by anyone while we are here. Doesn`t this count for animals too ?" he asked with a questioning look to Syani.

"VERY perceptive of you!" Syani praised Roy, "But animals have this 6th sense in them. They can see faint things, like spirits and ghosts...so yeah, we're not an exception."
The corner of her eyes caught the form of something black jumping, and as quick as a flash, a black frog is now in her grip, "Ahah!! And you think MOVING will escape my years and years of catching rats from the mansion?!"
Obviously proud that she caught the frog, she nodded at Roy, "If you see any more, tell me, okay? I need as many as I can..." placing that black frog in her small rucksack before freezing it with a potion, Syani searched some more...

Roy stood there and was listening to Syani`s explanation. "Ah, I see! It would have been too easy if they were blind as well" he replied after she was finished.
And then he watched Syani catching a big black frog with a skilled movement. After she put it into her rucksack Roy pretended "I can do that too!" So he was reaching down with his arms and was searching in the mud again. "HA!" he got his arms out of the mud and held a black frog in his hands, smaller than the one Syani catched though. "Here" he smiled and handed it over to Syani.

"WHOA!!" Syani gaped as Roy handed her the frog he just caught, "How'd you DO that?! They're usually MORE slippery if underwater! And you just caught it like it was a rock! Thanks!"
Obviously pleased, she froze the frog and placed it in her rucksack. For a while, they both hunt the frogs peacefully, until Syani heard something...
"Wait. ...Roy, did you hear something? ...Like...growling?"
