"Hmmm..." Syani's right hand made its way towards her chin as she's deep in thought, "Yeah, you're right... Her eyes, though flashing red, seemed pretty empty..." She turned back to her past-self, then back to Dawn, "You know, it's almost like...she's controlling me..."
Syani's eyes widened as she looked at Roy, "Oh my gosh... She's the one that made me crazy in the first place!!! Roy, she's the reason I'm inhuman!! Th-that means...I'm... It's not me that kill all those people!! It's her!!! Oh my gosh, Roy!! I'm NOT a murderer!!!" She exclaimed excitedly as she holds Roy by the shoulder, shaking him a bit in exhilaration. Then, she sort of hopped in one place a bit, unable to retian her thrill as she squealed.
After that rather childish delight, Syani sighed to calm herself, "Of course, I'm not sure completely...but that is such a wonderful theory... It's still my body, but...at least now I know it's not my heart doing it..."

"Whoa! Wait Syani, calm yourself!" Roy demanded as he watch the half vampire shook him in joy. "Maybe its a nice theory.... but it doesn`t solve the problem at all you know. If you remember the incident at the Creepy Steeple.... shes still within you..."
Roy walked around Dawn and looked her in the eyes but all he could say, which made him upset, is "Ah man!... I just have no clue about this controlling and sealing stuff..." He stared Dawn in her eyes like it would help somehow "I`m sorry Syani..."

Syani's smile dropped slightly as Roy mentioned the incident at the Creepy Steeple. A flash of guilt could be seen in her eyes, "No, no, don't apologize, none of this is your fault, so stop apologizing." She tried to smile cheerfully, and she did, but her eyes doesn't match her smile at all. "It's...kind of, my fault... For being such an easy target. For being so weak. I'M sorry that you gotta go through that awful phase of mine...."
After that, the half-vampire then slightly tap her palms on her face none too mildly to wake herself from this self-guilt sentiment. "BUT!! Good news is, I know what's wrong now. So that means I can research more deeply on how to fix it. I might even need some help from top students and teachers on overshadowing and sealing...and an expert on vampiric abilities, or a vampire himself."
Syani sighed, thinking it over thoroughly. "I need any help I can get to anyone willing enough. ...I mean, I can seal most things, but never something that lives INSIDE me before...so I'm kinda afraid if I ended up sealing myself and...y'know...die. But, heh, everybody dies, why should I care about death." And after all that, she still smiles brightly at Roy.

Roy shook his head and didn`t reply at all since its always the same. He apologizes, she apologizes and here we go with the discussion. So its better to leave it at that.
But Roy listened up again as he heard Syani's motivated ideas how she wants to stop Dawn. "I`ll help you too!!" he yelled immediatly. "And I just give you a hug when Dawn appears again" he added jokingly.
But Roys smile froze as Syani was talking about the possibility of dying again. Even though she was smiling, Roy knew that it was really hard for her. So he just made a step towards her and hugged her without a word. Instead of calming Syani, she will get most likely all 'Mushy!!' again, but even this gets her mind away from death, Roy was sure about that.

Syani's eyes lit up when Roy offered to help, and widens more when he suggest the idea of his hug. "OH!!! Yeah!! The hug~!! RIGHT! Dude, you're like my ultimate defense shield! WOW..." Then, her eyes travelled to the side very slowly, a sure sign of her plotting things down, planning tactics and emergency options. She's too focused playing with her thoughts that Roy's hug completely stunned her.
She did that little shiver thing she always did when she got touched before her spine straightens. And of course... "AHH! MUSHY!!! Mushy, mushy, mushy!!" Sliding her way off of Roy's embrace by recoiling herself, slipping downwards off of his arms then backs away, Syani blinked incredulously at him.
"Jeez, that was a sudden mushy attack. What was THAT for? I'm still Syani!"

"You were looking THAT serious while thinking that I thought you might possible get caught in some kind of trance again.... I just thought that I`m faster than Dawn and using the situation!" Roy replied jokingly. "Don`t take it that serious" he added chuckling.
Then he tilted is head and stroke his chin while eyeing Syani "Hmm.. speaking of it... how can I ever be sure that you are really Syani? Maybe I should hug you like every hour once just to be sure." Finishing with this suggestion Roy tried really hard to stay serious and not to burst into laugher. On the opposit he wasn`t sure if the earnestness of Syanis situation even allows jokes like that...

"Ha-ha, very funny." Trying her best to keep her face straight instead of allowing that grin of hers to spread, Syani only let a small snigger to escape her throat. Curse her lips for giving out a generous amount of smiles a day, now when seeing others smile, she can't help but to imitate them.
But Roy does have a point though, she has to admit. When Dawn comes out, she can act like Syani whenever she chose to, and might ended up tricking people using her body. "Hey Roy." The raven-haired called, supporting a light smile to keep her seriousness, as Roy said, off her system. "Speaking of that, you can tell if Dawn comes out, right? I mean...she's Dawn, she's different from me, but she might act like me or something... So is there a physical difference so you can notice when she's out?"

Roy looked at her with a smile. He was glad about the fact that he could at least cheer her up a little in situations like that.
"Hm?" Roy was confused at first hearing that question of hers but he caught himself pretty fast as he remembered the fact that Syani has absolutly no memories about the incident at the Creepy Steeple...
"Well.." he slowly started thinking about what he could say without scaring her. He couldn´t think of anything so in the end he decided just to go with the truth because lying wouldn`t help anything.
"I can definatly tell if its you or not, because..." He made a small pause "..your voice is changing.. and your eyes, they become red and cold" Slowly lowering his head to avoid Syanis eyes as he continued "You are having fangs too.... and your fingernails grow into sharp claws.."

Syani stared at Roy as he describes on how frightening she looked when she changed... "Ah... I... I see..." Her tone sounds shaky and broken, as the half-vampire quickly reached for her bang and distracts herself by taking her time to place it behind her ear. "A-at least you can tell when I changed. And that's good because you know I'm not being me..."
There was a long silence between them, and Syani's long sigh breaks the tensioning air. "If I start killing anybody..." There was a pause from her, before she looks up to him and smiles. "You'll know what to do."
Right at that moment, her chibi self finally grows tired of gnawing out every drop of blood the poor dead man has, the child's face is stained with crimson substances all over, including her hair and clothes. Dawn closed her eyes, at the same time, chibi Syani fainted on the pool of blood, sleeping peacefully unlike the little monster she was a second ago...
"...Lets get out of here, please."

Roy was clenching his fist. He was angry about himself because he wasn`t sure it was the right thing to tell her and make her even more scared than she already is. "I`m sorry.." was all he could say before the long silence took place.
Roy was looking for something to say but when Syani broke the silence he deeply wished that she wouldn`t have said anything. He felt a weird feeling in his stomach an her smile let Roys face freeze. Distraced by chibi Syani Roy looked to the ground and then placed his hand on her lower back to gently guide her the way out of the dining hall without a word.
They left the dining hall behind them as they were walking towards the exit. The only thing that can be heard now is the sound of their feet on the ground. He still hasn`t removed his hand as they were walking close to each other and Roy just pretended that he didn`t hear what Syani asked him to do...

Syani just silently follows Roy as he lead her to the exit, her mood's to out of it for her touch receptors to react with Roy's hand behind her waist. Her eyes also seemed distracted, just staring at the floor, trying to hold back some unknown-sourced tears that's about to well up. It's until the tears clogged her throat that Syani faked a cough to cover her sudden sad-attack and avoid meeting eyes with Roy.
They approached the huge door they once entered, shut close and tight. Though, since they're only visitors in this time and space, solids like these aren't obstacles, so they can just go through it like a hologram. "Hey..." Syani suddenly choked, almost inaudibly. "Can you... ...Can you keep everything you witnessed here as a secret...?"
The half-vampire braved herself to face Roy, eyes teary or not she doesn't care, all she wants is an answer from him, and how his eyes looked like when he answers it. "Please?"

Both were walking through the dark corridors not speaking any word. Even though Syani tried to hide it Roy could feel that she was falling apart on the inside. Who wouldn`t in a situation like hers? She just witnessed what happens if her inner demon awakes suddenly out of the blue and she had no way of controlling it... Everything that Roy had on his mind was just to do something right now to cheer her up in any way. Fate already doesn`t mean to be nice to her and now she was also bothering herself with hiding her sadness from Roy.
When they passed the door Syani suddenly spoke to Roy and made him stop thinking. She was now facing him.... with tears in her eyes.... like he assumed. A cool breeze came past them causing their hair to dance in the wind as they both stood on top of the stairway looking into each others eyes.
The way she was asking him that question gave Roy a weird feeling in his stomach. It was sounding so.... desperate...
Which made it even harder to answer because a simple 'yes' seemed just so... meaningless... but he couldn`t think of something else.
"Yeah..of course"
Oh, how he was wishing to give her something that was more worth than just these words..

It took Syani all her strength to support just one more smile on her face, just to say a simple, "Thank you..." She looked away immediately after that, then took her leave as she climbed down the small stairway to the dirt path towards the gate and beyond the dark deep forest where they first entered.
'Dammit Syani, this is stupid! Crying in front of a dude like that, what are you, a GIRL?? Stupid, stupid, stupid!'
As she reached the dirt path, the half-vampire quickly rubbed her eyes, spinned around to face Roy, and jokingly said, "And no hugs!" She figured, not being able to keep a full genuine smile up is a very serious danger that might challenge her upbeat take on life, so now she's triggering her defense mechanism by bouncing back up whenever she hit TOO deep down below.
"Let's leave this place...with a race." Her eyes scrutinized Roy with the tiniest tint of mischief as she challeged the young man. To her, being sad and feeling sorry for herself is a free way ticket to attain an emotional breakdown, and that isn't healthy at all...plus it wastes good tears. And the worst part is, it also might rubbed on the people around her...giving them the melancholic aura and they don't even deserve it.
"Come on, stop being so serious, it's all behind me now." She waved off her hand, like waving her sadness behind her...before suddenly sprinting off towards the gate. "And you are too!"

As she turned around to walk down the stairs Roy slowly followed her with his eyes looking on his feet. Useless would be quite a good word to describe how he felt. But he couldn`t think of any way how to cheer up Syani at least a little. Words aren`t of any use at the moment.
Suddenly reached the dirt path Roy noticed that Syani wasn`t walking anymore and as he looked up he looked right into her face which was supporting a smile. Roy couldn`t help it and grinned at the demand she just made, it was like she just read his thoughts. "Ah well, so now you said it I would be stupid to do it, right ?" he replied jokingly.
Then Syani already sprinted off starting her race. "Hey!!" Roy said in a reflex "That wouldn`t be fair! I`ve got longer legs!" Witnessing how Syanis figure already became smaller. '...but you have half vampire skills.... but it would be insensitive to mention that..' he only thought to himself.
He hurried to get a sight of Syani as soon as possible again, since he had no clue where the gate would be. He only can rely on Syani to find the way back to it. Not that he would have a problem with that.

Decades ago when she's still a child, Syani had run on this same path for about a million times...and now, running on that same path...faint memories clouded her mind. Sometimes, she runs on this path filled with laughter while chasing her Chibit, and sometimes tears trailed this path as she hurried to the forest to calm her nerves...but other times, she ran on all fours, very fast, with an appetite for blood at the start of her hunt...
Her pace slowed as she approached the huge gate, and viewed the large castle for one last time, the source of her terror...the origin of her nightmare...the root of her vampiric side. Bats escaped the roof of the castle, and Syani immediately looks away from it and sets her eyes on Roy instead, who's gaining fast towards her. She smiled at him as he comes closer, then backs a few feet away before turning completely and ran past through the gate, into the deep dark forest.
The half-vampire kept on running till she reached the swamp, where both her and Roy had been hunting for frogs earlier. Without even taking some time to catch her breath, Syani closed her eyes and chanted under her breath, her hands moving in a strange pattern-like manner. A glowing light appear in the darkness in front of her, the croaking of the frogs filled their surrounding, and in time, that light formed itself into a shape of a doorway, back to the Demensa. "Hurry up Roy!! Let's go back home already...!" Oh, how she wanted to get out of this place fast...
