Syani smiled guiltily, "A-actually.... I DID bite someone...and ate some kids...when I was small, 'cause some vampires put something in me... but now I can control myself."
"Memories of my parents?" Syani repeaated, "No. ...Not at all. I can't even time-travel THAT far... ...I don't even know what they look like, or what happened to them. ....Gosh, sorry for killing the mood," Syani lifted a small smile to Roy.

Roy was looking at Syani like he couldn`t believe what she just said. But in the same second he wanted to smack himself. Afterall she also has vampire blood inside of her, so it is obvious that she already killed someone.
Roy came a bit closer to her on the bench. "No,no. It`s alright... it is never easy tot alk about things like that. Forgive me if I bother you with all my questions, but did you just say time travel?"

Seeing that bewildered look on Roy's face, Syani sweatdropped, 'Ah great, Syani, now you just scared somebody again!' But she's surprised to notice Roy moving a bit closer...
"What? Oh, yeah! I've time-traveled before....but that was just a lucky journey. I can never time-travel again...unless I finally understand how exactly did I do that. Heh..." Placing her hand behind her head, the half-vampire smiled, "Why do you ask?"

"I am just curious." Roy said quickly "I think time traveling could be pretty awesome. Imagine all these things you could do........Do you want to tell me how your journey was like?" he asked smiling.

"Well, if you want to hear it, sure!" Syani was obviously more than glad to tell as she turned her whole body facing Roy, sitting crosslegged on the bench.
"It's kinda sad...'cause I was aiming to go to the past to see my parents....but I saw something totally different... It's at that time I finally know that I have this sick lust for blood when full moon arrives, 'cause I can't remember anything from those nights."
Then, she clasped her hands together with a smile, "It's pretty cool to time-travel....except for the part that your particles kinda got lost in time space. Heh, it's kinda funny that when I return to the present, I have nothing on me! Good thing I'm wearing a suit that time, or my skin would dissapear by now!"
She blinked for a while before clasping her hands on her mouth, "I'm so sorry!! ...I never talked this much before. ...Gosh, I feel that I can talk to you about anything, Roy. Sorry about that..."

Roy listened attentive
"Oh... I see, but actually this trip teached you something very important right ? It showed that you have to be careful when the full moon comes."
Roy blinked "That doesn`t sound like fun to me... seems like time traveling could easily kill you." he said slowly.
"Hey, it`s okay, you don`t have to apologize for anything! I enjoy talking with you. And it seems like you do too... when you have the feeling that you can talk with me about anything" he gave her a kind smile.

"Yep!" Syani nodded continously, "But now I have nothing to worry, 'cause an angel broke that lust out of me just a few years ago. As long as no blood flows through my throat, then I'm perfectly in control."
The half-vampire sweatdropped, rubbing behind her neck, "Heheh.... I know. But that can only happen 'cause I didn't know much on time-traveling. If I study hard, I can most likely do it again without any particles lost. At least, I hope so."
Syani stared at Roy widely, smiling unconsciously, "Thanks, Roy. But, enough about me, what about you? There must be something you want to talk about! I can listen all day~!"

"Ummm..." Roy was thinking for an excuse to avoid talking about somethink that bothers his mind for a while "but I still have some things to say to your stories, so lets finished that first" he replied quickly and tried to smile, which wasn`t working he assumed.
"Whew, I am glad he did that. Otherwise we wouldn`t have met I suppose" he said smiling "I would rather not think about it what would happen if that seals brakes somehow...." he added with a lower voice.
"This brings a questions to my mind" Roy said all of the sudden. "Does this time travel have an effect on your current life? I mean, you didn`t exactly know what you have to do. And this loosing-particles story does sound scary." he asked with a worried look on his face.

Syani blinked at him worriedly after he insist finishing her part of the story first, "Um... okay... If you say so, I guess."
Hearing his reply about the angel, Syani giggled a bit, "Dude, that angel's a girl. Heh...and yeah, you're right. I'm glad we've met, Roy. Really." Syani's smile dropped a bit when he said about the seal break, "Roy... I wouldn't want to say this, or even BELIEVE what I'm about to say... but the seal can break anytime now, if I drink blood. .....Which is..."
She can't seem to continue her sentence, so instead, she focuses on Roy's last question, "Effect on my.....current life? ...Well, it does makes me think a lot. I gotta pay my future just because I changed something from my past, so now I'm enjoying the present to the fullest before the future comes along."
Nodding with a smile, Syani locked her hands together and placed it right under her chin, "Please don't tell anybody that. ...You're sort of the second person in the whole world that knows about this..."

"Oh" Roy was stunned "Sorry, I didn`t know that it is a she, my apologizes" he smiled. Roy continued listening to Syani and his smile faded away. "Which is...?" he tried to make her ending her sentence. "You aren`t planning to-" he stopped and shook his head "No, you won`t drink any blood ever again, right?" he asked with a slight paninc in his voice.
"You have to pay your future ?" Roy repeated "What do you mean by that?" Roy asked slowly, not trying to think of the worst case that invaded his mind. "And you don`t have to worry. Whatever will happen, you can count on me anytime. So of course I will keep this secret for myself" he looked into her eyes and gave her a kind smile.

"W-which is...." Syani had her pupils at the corner of her eyes, considering if she should tell or not. After much thought though, she slowly said, "W-well.... I wasn't planning to drink blood ever again....until...."
Her face gone a little red as she quickly clasps her hands on top of her face, trying to avoid Roy to see her like that, "Just...promise me you won't tell anyone about it, then I...might....probably....maybe....explain to you about it...."
After that, her expression changed when Roy asked her his second question, "Well Roy, the world kind of revolves around this one rule....at least, in time-traveling, which is the equivalent exhange rule. Meaning, if you want to have something really big, then you have to pay for it....in a large amount. In my case, to change my past, I paid my future. Though, I've no idea what's gonna happen..."
After her rather long speech, Syani smiled wide, hearing that she can count on him anytime, "Roy, I.... I don't know what to say... ...Aw, you are such a great friend!!" And with that, the half-vampire suddenly leaned over and hugged him happily...
Though five second after that, she lets him go and started shivering of what she just did, "Ack! ...M-mushy........"

Worried wasn`t the exact word to describe how Roy was feeling right after he listened to the stuttering Syani who avoids looking him into his eyes. Actually he was more than worried, he was afraid.... afraid of loosing her. Thats what flashed through his mind. But he could prevent that Syani notices anything of these feelings. He reached out with his hand to her chin and turned her head gently so that he can look her in the eyes. "I`ll keep it for myself..... I promise"
Roy felt something in his chest while Syani was embracing him. It was a warm feeling, that made him strong, he felt like he could do anything right now. Was it because of the potion Syani gave him at the Creepy Steeple ? Was it still that little glowing light in his chest that made him this strong ? Or was it something else?
He reached out with his arms until he was embracing her tight. Then he whispered "Just remember these words, you can always count on me. No matter what the future brings to you. Just remember these words....." Then she frees herself out of his arms and murmured the word mushy. Roy couldn`t hold back a slight grin.

Syani's shoulders relaxed a bit as Roy touched her chin, making her eyes meets his. She can't even find her voice to reply to his words, but a slight pinkish in her cheeks kind of reveal what she's feeling...
Shivering after hugging him, the half-vampire silently places his advice in her heart. She smiled a bit too after that before looking up at the grinning Roy, "Okay.... since you promise, I trust you."
Her smile faded as she started to rub both her hands together, obviously worried if it's okay to tell him, "Umm..... .....well, to make things short... Uhm.... ...it has something to do with.....Kaekeru..."

He was watching Syani who obviously wasn`t feeling comfortable with this situation and Roy felt something like a rollercoaster of emotions inside of him. But then when Syani finally starts to speak, his self gets smashed back on earth immediatly. Roy had a very uncomfortable feeling in his stomache when he opened his mouth to reply "With... Kaekeru?" was all he could say.

"Well...he....Kaekeru is a full vampire..." she began, never knowing that Roy already knows that fact, "And......he said to me once that..."
Syani kept stopping after each word she said, showing its very hard for her to continue, "I mean......he said if I drink....his blood, my human genes could....vanish..." She clutched her arms, her eyes darting down, "At first I didn't want to, since I like being a half now....but I......... and he......"
Syani sighed at her broken words. It took her a while to look back up to Roy and apologize, "I'm really sorry.... I'm just...really really afraid of him now....'cause I sort of like him a lot..."
