They both stepped into the garden. Roy released her hand just now after they stopped running. He was completly overwhelmed by the bright colours of the flowers and the whole green by the trees and the grass. For a moment Roy just stood there with a bright smile. He made a few steps with his eyes full of amazement.
"Thats.... just... incredible" he said slowly. And seemed like he has completly forgotten for which reason he came here with Syani.
"Have you ever been here before.. ?" he asked while his attention was drawn to a big fountain where the sunlight was reflected by the waterdrops which were tossed in the air.

Seeing the wonderful garden, Syani has her eyes wide, just like Roy. Gazing around, she can't even blink, witnessing the beauty of the Garden of Dreams. No wonder it was named that way...
Spinning around to take in the view, she finally came back to her head when she heard Roy's question, "No, not at all! ...Wow, I can't believe I missed to see this beautiful place... ...Man, if Kaekeru was teasing me here, I've probably blowed up the whole place with the constant explosions..."
Noticing a bench near the fountain, Syani pointed, "Oh, hey!! Let's sit there!"

Roy was walking towards the bench and looked quite confused "Blow up the whole place.... with explosions ?" he asked slowly. "What do you mean by that?"

Syani gulped a bit before trying to explain as simply as she can, "Ahh...uh... Well, y'see Roy, I can move things with my mind, it's called telekinesis. But, as I'm half a human, my telekinesis also affected my emotions and heart-beats."
Sitting on the side of the bench, Syani continued, "And Kaekeru likes to...'tease' me a lot, and that triggers my telekinesis out of scale, and I eventually will blow things up without control."
Nodding at her own statement, she turned her attention to the knight and smiled at Roy, "So! What's your story? What made you be a knight...?"

Roy was listening to Syani carefully "Ah, I see."
"Umm" Roy was starting to feel uncomfortable after Syani asked again this question. But he said that he would tell her about it.
"Well... have I ever said to you that I am a knight?" he started slowly.

Blinking at him, the half-vampire tried to recall, "Hmm...noo... But you LOOKED like a knight, and you ACT like a knight. ...So I THOUGHT you're a knight..."

"Thats the point... but I am no knight... I try to be one, with my heart, but I`ve never received the knightly accolade... I am just the son of an ordinary farmer..." his voice keeps getting lower and lower as he speaks. He was suprised of himself that he just offered this secret to somebody.

Hearing Roy's statement, Syani felt like she wanted to shoot herself in the head, "Aw...Roy, I apologize if I bring any sad memories..."
She placed a hand on his shoulder, trying very hard to comfort him, "But, you're still young! And you arrived at this school for a reason, right? To learn! Greatness doesn't come from any sons from any rank, it comes from YOU."
She paused for a while to get a piece of her hair out of the way of her eyes, annoyed by that interruption, "Since you saved me at the Steeple Castle, I believe you have what it takes. ...To be truthful, I don't really care if you're not a real knight," Syani gave him the most reassuring smile she can manage, "...because you're already a knight to me, dude. You're brave, you're honest.....you're kind of a masochist, but you're SO KIND! And THAT is what matters."
The half-vampire then grinned at him widely, "Plus, if you really want that knightly allocade thing, you can always get it here at the Room of Rooms!"[/color][/b]

Roy was listening to Syani comforting words and looked at her. "I ... thank you" he replied. "It`s good to hear that you are thinking that way" he said looking at her with a slight smile. Even when the masochist-part made him feeling quite embarrased. But he didn`t say anything to it.
"But when I would go to the Demensa I would just be kidding myself.... because I would make me a knight with my own thoughts. But in reality nobody would accept me...." he grabbed his wrist "... it`s all about blood. And if you don`t have it... that`s it."
He let go of his wrist and was looking to Syani again. "But I think you are right..." he smiled "Maybe I should just be myself! And that this is better than anything. Thank you for helping me realizing that"

Syani grinned wide. She was never the one to give advices, since...well, nobody ask her. A slight sweatdropped appeared on her head, as she started thinking on what the heck did she just said...
The part when Roy mentioned that it's all about blood, Syani's smile dropped instantly. She stared at him wide, her eye pupils small...and it took her a while to regain her smile back, "I completely understand what you meant by THAT, dude, no doubt."
With a sweatdrop, Syani laughed nervously, "Ahahah....I don't think I do anything, actually! You realized that long ago, I figure. I'm just trying to refresh your memory...I think."

Roy left out a small giggle and was quite amused about the way Syani tried to cheer him up "You are trying to refresh my memory? I see.. then thank you!" Roy said with a smile.
Then it was quiet for a few minutes. And then Roy could finally overcome himself and was asking Syani about her own past "You said..." he started slowly "that you completly understand me referring to the blood part.... May I ask what happened to you in the past?"

Her smile dissapears slowly when Roy asked her that, "Sure, equivalent exchange. Your past story for my past story..." she tried to smile, but it didn't last very long...
"You said..." Syani started, "...that it's all about blood. If you don't have it, that's it..."
Her eyes looked right into Roy's, "As you know, I'm only half a vampire, and half a human. ...It's kinda weird that I have two different types of blood in me...'cause vampires eat humans and humans kill vampires. So now, I'm trying to figure out how my mom and dad actually loves each other and produce me."
With a sweatdrop, she rubbed behind her neck, "Kinda weird, I know."

"Hmm.." Roy watched her and was thinking.
"You also have vampire blood inside of you.. does this mean that the only reason why you don`t kill me right away is the fact that also human blood runs through your veins?" he asked slowly while looking into her eyes.

Syani blinked at him, "If I'm a full vampire, I'd eat everyone. I can't control myself as well as Kaekeru," rubbing behind her head, Syani laughed nervously.
"Then, for your question, YES. I'm very thankful I'm part human...so I'm still humane. ...Actually, I'm kinda thankful for whichever my human parent is for just being human."

"Hmm.." Roy looked down to the ground. "I seriously could not imagine that you would run berserc and kill people. That wouldn`t fit you at all." he made a small pause "Do you have any memories of your parents?"
